Name: Emil Fiedler : Hamel
Age: 16 [13/4/1998]
Appearance: Like so. Blond hair and red eyes, 178cm, 60kg. There’s a small, pearly-white horn on his head which he hides under the hat.

Emil looks pretty much the same. He regained Hamel's horn and red eyes, which is why he wears a hat and colored contacts in public and when he uses the video function on the network. Basically, unless I say otherwise in the tag, you can assume his head is covered and his eyes look green.

As of late June 2014, he takes his violin everywhere. So if you meet him outside chances are he's carrying a double bass case (it's a giant violin. this canon is really stupid okay). It doesn't even look like he feels its weight though.

Occupation: High school student (10th 11th grade) / part time grocery store worker got fired and is looking for a new job

Drinking tainted water brought back a memory of his crow companion, Oboe, scolding him for doing something stupid. Emil doesn’t remember the crow’s name or their exact relationship, but he does remember he’s important.

After getting Russel into trouble in school, he remembered getting Raiel into trouble in a similar fasion. From his past self's rambling, he managed to pick up he used to call himself "Hero of Justice, the Ultra Big Special Violin player, Hamel" and that Russel's past self was "Raiel, Hero of Love".

After witnessing Russel's girl-induced nosebleed on Valentine's Day, he remembered he'd win stupid fights with Raiel by using female sexiness to give him nosebleeds.

A conversation about fate with Emery gave him an aversion to the whole concept. Hamel's fate was to give in to his Mazoku side and become the Demon King's successor, and he spent his entire life fighting against it. Emil doesn't remember details, but he can't help but feel that whatever "fate" has in store for him, it's bad and he doesn't want it.

After hearing and seeing magical music in action he remembered he can do magic by playing music, but can't summon things likes Russel. Details like what exactly he CAN do and how Were left out, much to his frustration.

Unbeknownst to him, he actually DID regain some magical music - limited to basic emotional manipulation for now.

Being on the receiving end of comedic violence gave him Mazoku durability. He suffers bruises/minor injuries where others need to be hospitalized, recovers from serious injury faster than normal humans and is generally more resilient.

In other words, he can shrug off comedic violence like a Looney Tunes character and get seriously injured only when it's dramatically conveniet.

John Smith said he expected magical music to have a physical effect. It brought back the knowledge that Emil really can do that - specifically, give people a power boost and control their movements like marionettes.

After John Smith suggested that the physical effect of magical music is connected to the emotional one, Emil regained knowledge that the two are indeed connected, because the physical effect depends on an intense emotional response from the listener (basically, the musician manipulates their emotions so effectively he can manipulate their body).

Being around Wise Snake returned his Mazoku strength: he's now able to lift heavy things, throw them like an olympic shot out chapmion and beat the crap out of monsters five times his size. He also regained Hamel's tendency to toss things as a battle strategy. When coming across an enemy, he will throw anything that isn't bolted down - including other people. Especially other people.

During Wise Snake's attack, Emil agreed to go help people with Alex. Doing something "heroic" for the first time returned general memories of what being Hero Hamel was like, traveling around fighting Mazoku.

Reincarnates becoming known to the public after Wise Snake’s rampage caused an intense, negative emotional reaction to the possibility of being identified as one. This is actually Hamel’s fear of being outed as part Mazoku, triggered by a similar threat of his secret being revealed. Right now Emil has no context for these emotions and he knows they're not exactly "his".

Tried to use the violin against a toothpick monster.

It failed miserably, BUT it was enough of a canon recurrance to give back technical violin skills (left handed). He's good, but definitely NOT a virtuoso like Hamel. He also still lacks Hamel’s perfect pitch, sight reading skills and the ability learn songs by ear.
